James Botkin
United States
Jim is a leadership and life coach trained by the Coaches Training Institute. He brings to his coaching, 25 years of consulting experience in organizational learning in more than 40 Fortune 1000 companies. Having lived and worked in Switzerland, France, Austria, Scandinavia, India, and Australia as well as the east and west coasts and southwest of the United States, one of his specialties is cross-cultural understanding. In the 1980’s he built the Alliance for Learning with four corporate members doing joint research on learning. In the 1990’s, he was co-founder of Interclass with 20 corporate members exchanging best practices in corporate learning. Now in the 2000’s, Jim is a founding partner and chairman of InnerCALL—the International Corporate Coaching Alliance, the world’s first consortium of coaches and companies dedicated to growing a coaching culture in corporation’s worldwide. Jim currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the United States.

John Broomfield
New Zealand
Born in New Zealand, John brings a wealth of experience in cultures around the world, including study with Native American, Tibetan Buddhist, Hindu, Maori, and Aboriginal Australian teachers. John has a doctorate from the Australian National University (ANU). His distinguished academic career includes fellowships at MIT, the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, and the ANU. For 20 years he was a professor of Asian and Comparative History at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and he has 7 years of service as President of the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, California. His most recent book is: Other Ways of Knowing: Recharting Our Future With Ageless Wisdom. John and his wife Jo Imlay currently live in Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand, where they have established a private nature reserve on 50 acres of remote coastal forest, named Te Wairua, "place of spirit."

Devorah Brous
Israel
Devorah is founder and director of Bustan.  She has spent the past 11 years catalyzing projects in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories to promote fair allocation of public resources.  Devorah holds masters degrees in Israel Studies and Peace/Conflict Studies with a concentration in conflict resolution.  Her thesis involved actively researching Israeli/Palestinian land claims as well as the political and strategic impact of environmental policy in the region.  She has successfully managed building and planting actions for ICAHD and Rebuilding Homes.  She also serves as the Israeli coordinator of the Compassionate Listening Project, a citizen's diplomacy program.  Devorah has authored numerous articles, essays, and poems about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.  She currently lives in the small community of Nahlaot, Jerusalem.

Nicholas D’Ambrosia

Nicholas is a Certified Financial Planner who provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services through his company, Horizon Planning Inc. Prior to forming Horizon Planning, Nicholas worked for ten years in the financial services industry including Vice President positions at Bankers Trust Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc. He is the President-Elect and member of the Board of Directors of the New York Financial Planning Association. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees, is licensed as a Certified Financial Planner fulfilling the Certified Financial Planning courses of study at the College for Financial Planning, and has completed the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 7 and 63 exams. Agustin Guzman
Peru, Amazon
Agustin is a founder and President of Comunidad Tawantinsuyu, a non-governmental organization dedicated to the investigation, preservation, promotion, and practice of the ancestral wisdom and traditional medicine of the Andes and the Amazon. This group encourages the sustainable development of indigenous people by reconnecting them with their roots and therefore with nature. He currently lives with his wife in Lima, Peru.

Pam Olsen
United States
Pam is the Managing Attorney for the Ocala office of the Bogin, Munns, and Munns Law Firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida.  She recently received a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.  She believes that clients need more than just sound legal advice when they are in distress and that her counseling training will help her be more effective as a lawyer.  Pam has traveled extensively and has special affinity for the cultures of Brazil, Peru, and Tibet.  She is currently sponsoring a young person from Mongolia to attend agricultural school in his home country.  She is also a board member for the Spirit Springs Yoga Center in Florida.  Pam has experienced the traditions of various indigenous peoples.  She values their traditions and the viability of their spirit and sees how understanding their wisdom can help those of us who live in the modern world.
Jeanine Pfeiffer

Jeanine is founder and Principal Sponsor of the Ethnobotanical Conservation Organization for Southeast Asia (ECO-SEA). Since 1998, Jeanine has collaborated with colleagues worldwide on interdisciplinary symposia, conservation programs, and community-based research and education initiatives in ethnobiology, ethnoecology, biocultural diversity, gender studies, ecotourism, and research ethics. As an academician and practitioner, Jeanine stresses multidisciplinary and multicultural approaches to her work with diverse constitiuencies. She teaches cultural ecology and environmental science at San Jose State University, and ethnoecology and women’s studies at the University of California at Davis.

Victor has dedicated his life to the preservation of the traditions of the indigenous peoples of Mexico who, hidden in the mountains, have kept alive the spiritual path of the ancient Toltecs. He has worked among them for 20 years. He is author of 4 books, the most recent of which is The Toltec Path of Recapitulation, Heal Your Past to Free Your Soul and The Toltec Oracle. He conducts workshops worldwide applicable to the creative improvement of everyday life for personal and spiritual growth. Wangdowa Sherpa
Thailand

Wangdowa Sherpa is founder of Discover Asia Travel Co., Ltd., an ecotour operator specializiing in the conservation and exploration of nature and culture. He personally designs environment friendly leisure and adventure tours, ecotours, treks, and expeditions in Thailand with extensions to the Mekong sub-region countries in Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia), and in Nepal with extensions throughout its Himalayan neighbors (India, Tibet/China, Bhutan, Pakistan, and Mongolia). Wangdowa has broad cross cultural experience acquired through his schooling in Nepal, India, Australia, and the United States. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from California State University. He speaks Nepali, English, Sherpa, Hindi, and some Tibetan and Thai. In the Spring of 1988, he participated with the China-Japan-Nepal Friendship Expedition team to Mt. Everest from the South-face, climbed up to 27,000 ft. and spent 16 days between the elevations of 19,520 ft. (Camp 1) and 27,000 ft. (above Camp 4). Wangdowa plans to donate part of his ancestral property in Nepal to develop a community education institute for environmental education focusing on re-forestry, natural resource conservation, and sustainable forest and land resource usage.

Puma Fredy Quispe Singona
Peru, Andes
Puma lives in Chinchero, Peru in the highlands of the Andes. He has been in training with his grandfather since he was six years old in the ways of traditional medicine and following the ritual path. He has been practicing global healing ever since and also walking the path of a leader in various youth organizations worldwide. He is the founder of Cusi Huayna, a youth cultural institution in Peru and a council member of International Indigenous Youth Alliance (INIYA). He has been working with Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!), as a social activist for life, justice, peace, and healing. Puma has given various workshops in the United States and other countries on the traditional healing arts of the Andes. He leads spiritual pilgrimages in Peru to different power places and sacred sites for healing and liberation.
